Moscow Exchange expects a record number of IPO held by Russian companies

This year about thirty Russian organizations may place their securities on the Moscow Exchange for the first time. The same number of IPO has been carried out over the past decade.

Shares of domestic organizations are of interest to foreign investors due to the increase in their value and dividend profitability. At the beginning of 2020, the Moscow Exchange Index updated its maximum values. Evgeny Ananiev, Vice President of Otkritie Bank, said that this is a good chance for companies to put up shares at fair value and turn their business into profit before the end of a fruitful period in the Russian stock market.

Ilya Kupreev, an analyst at Gazprombank Asset Management, said that investors are interested in commodity sectors, whose profitability is growing rapidly. Ananiev also told that companies, which will probably be able to reach its potential within a couple of years, have high-risk shares of little-known organizations going at the wayside.

Among the applicants for the IPO, the BCS Express edition mentioned Yandex.Taxi, Ozon, Sibur and Vkusvill. The companies themselves have not yet announced their participation in the initial public offering.
